Ragn-Sells helps its customers manage their hazardous waste in a sustainable, correct, and legal manner. With experienced experts in hazardous waste and safety advisors, Ragn-Sells daily assists its customers with everything from labeling, sorting, and classifying hazardous waste to advising on safe transport.

The operations include the collection, reception, control, sorting, and interim storage of hazardous waste, as well as a treatment facility for oil, oil-contaminated sludge, and oil-contaminated water. Collection of hazardous waste is done via piece goods transport. The waste is weighed, checked, labeled, and documented before being placed in the designated area in the interim storage for further transport to an approved treatment facility.

As an environmental worker, you will primarily work with:

• Taking analyses of incoming material flows, flows after processing, and analyzing what emerges during sampling,
• Customer contact if the materials deviate from what is agreed
• Analyzing the materials and flows to see if something better can be done with the incoming material.
• Developing analysis and sampling - which involves administrative work.
• Production together with other employees, which may involve maintenance of machines such as simple repairs.
• Washing of packaging
• Moving materials between storage locations and loading and unloading transports to and from the facility.

Placement: Borlänge
Period: Immediately. You will start your career at Ragn-Sells as a consultant and be employed by us at StudentConsulting. The assignment is long-term with the ambition to eventually be employed directly by Ragn-Sells.
Working hours: 07–16 Monday-Friday

Requirements:
B driver's license and access to your own car
Swedish spoken and written, as the language is used in daily work
Some computer skills

Meritorious:
C/CE - authorization
ADR
Forklift
Experience with hazardous goods

Great emphasis is placed on personality for this position, and we therefore see that you are a team player who is responsible and reliable. You should also be able to work independently and take your own initiatives. You enjoy analyzing and finding solutions to problems, as well as working in a structured manner and prefer order and tidiness. We see that you are a person who can quickly familiarize yourself with tasks and routines. In this role, you will have a lot of customer contacts, where you will need to motivate your results and your assessment of the incoming waste. You communicate clearly and understand the importance of service and quality. Furthermore, you need to have a strong character and take responsibility for your work and results.

It may be necessary to obtain an extract from the criminal record.
